You can become a hero in someone else's eyes by opening the door to essential literacy skills. Whether you have a close friend, companion, or family member who needs to take GED classes, improve his or her reading skills, or learn English as a second language, the first step is to call The Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati at (513) 621-7323.
You can speak personally with a member of our staff who has up-to-date information on more than 60 adult literacy sites in Greater Cincinnati. Staff members are trained to provide confidential counseling to adult
students, which includes referrals to the appropriate agencies to best suit their needs. Many of our provider agencies are conveniently located near public transportation routes and some even provide child care or remain open in the evenings to better serve their students.
Anytime you show a friend or family member a way to build literacy skills, you do more than just help them outyou help them up!
