The Literacy Network is privately funded through grants, individual donations, letter campaigns and events and fundraisers. Check out our fun events and help to support our mission!

With the safety of our supporters and the Greater Cincinnati community in mind, all in-person events have been suspended until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. We will be sure to keep you informed as fundraising events and opportunities become available.

2021 Reading Hero Campaign

A reading hero is someone who inspires, supports and shares the love of reading with others. Honor your "Reading Hero" by making a donation and we will happily notify the honoree, or his/her family, to let them know they made an impact on your life. Visit this link for more details and to read about our 2021 Literacy Network Reading Hero, Ellen Read.

2021 Virtual Handbags for Hope Campaign

The Literacy Network is extremely disappointed we cannot hold our 10th Annual Handbags for Hope event in-person. This event is instrumental in supporting our programs and ensuring we can serve children and families most vulnerable in our community. We are excited to share our raffle and virtual fundraiser was a great success! Thanks to all who supported the efforts, especially our wonderful sponsors! Stay tuned for total amount raised for literacy programs.

Busam Subaru “Share the Love” Event

We are so grateful to have been named Busam Subaru’s annual “Share the Love” recipient! From November 14, 2020 until January 2, 2021, Busam Subaru donated $250 to a charity for each car sold. Thanks to their generosity and for helping to create a stronger Greater Cincinnati community!

Dan's 3-Putt for Literacy:

Since 2016, the Wendell Family has graciously hosted Dan’s 3-Putt to commemorate the incredible life of Dan Wendell. With the restrictions, this year's event was forced to cancel, but a special thanks to the Wendell family who still made several generous donations. This event has raised over $27,000 for our programs in 5 years!
