HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Let the Literacy Network connect you to an enjoyable, convenient and immensely rewarding volunteer opportunity. It will amaze you the difference a little of your time can make in one person's life. Thank you for thinking of those in need!
MAKE A BOOK DONATION
One way we can reach children and families at home during this time is through books. We are working with our community partners and utilizing our Little Free Libraries to get books into the hands of all of our neighbors. Books and the stories they tell allow us to connect with others, even in the most challenging moments.
If you have children's books to give, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to coordinate donations. We appreciate any donations of diverse books, as we work hard to distribute books that represent all backgrounds. If you do not have books to give and would like to make a donation toward this effort, please click here.
HOST A BOOK DRIVE
Thank you for your efforts to support our community! We want to make it as simple as possible for you to hold your very own book drive to benefit the Literacy Network! Contact Liz.asman@LNGC.org to coordinate book drop off and ask any questions.
VOLUNTEER TO BECOME A TUTOR
Thank you for your willingness to serve our community! Due to the fluidity of the current situation with COVID-19, we are postponing in person orientation and tutoring until further notice. Once we have confirmed alternatives, we will post opportunities here and will also e-mail anyone who has registered already. Feel free to sign up on the form below and we will follow up with further information as it becomes available. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and willingness to help during this challenging time.
